Circular intarsia machine for the production of seamless, knitted shoe uppers
After inventing and patenting in 2015 the first ever circular intarsia machine for the production of seamless shoe uppers, Cesare Colosio will exhibit its latest innovation in the field of knitted uppers: the S1M.
Colosio's brand new circular machine is not only 100% sustainable, allowing to eliminate any waste of material throughout the whole manufacturing process, but it is also extremely versatile (producing uppers for any kind of use, from technical and sports footwear to casual and fashion shoes) while minimizing industrial cost and time (the average production capacity of the machine is 4 pairs of uppers per hour).
Being a circular intarsia machine, the S1M can manufacture seamless uppers made of different and indipentent yarns and, as a consequence, different and independent areas depending on the final result that the procucer wants to achieve.
All this can be achieved just thanks to the intarsia process, which is well rooted in Colosio's DNA since it was first created by the company in the eighties.
