Two robots working cell for cutting, detection of skin defects and automatic nesting.
Flexible sheet material (mainly leather) is placed by the operator on the work surface of the vacuum table, the optical reader, scans and determines the contour of the hide and its defects and then the information obtained is transmitted to processing and control unit.
The vacuum table is moved to the cutting zone where are installed two industrial robots.
At the end of the cutting operation, the vacuum table returns to the defect detection area, where the operator takes out the cut parts.
